When Susan learns that she has Parkinson's disease, her world falls apart. Wanting to give Susan hope, her nephew, Adam, sets off to attempt a world record distance swim in her honor. Adam pushes his body and mind to the breaking point during the grueling 65-mile (105-kilometer) event. Through Adam's effort, Susan discovers her own capacity to face pain and fear. It will take love, perseverance, and a positive mindset to get Adam and Susan through the immense challenges that they face.
